Mine is GS Type 2 all the way...but the Safetan Type 3 isn't too bad either. I just like the "gong" sound the Type 2 has. Otherwise...I don't care fore electronic bells that much. I prefer the WABCO mechanical as my #1.

I chose Safetran Type 2, because it has a combination of durability & good looks; the sound is realistic enough.
The Type 3's housing looks weird.
Type 1 has the best sound, but the "housing" looks delicate & fragile. When gates lower, the speaker hanging from the bar is jerked around,
GS: Not the most realistic sounds, but believable enough.
WCH: Mixed feelings about this one.
Housing looks odd, first of all.
Types 1.5, 2, & 3 all sound unrealistic but fine.
After a while, these bells sound somewhat like cowbells to me.
In this video the bell sounds like a cowbell to me at the beginning.

After hearing the Safetran Type 3 a few times...I think I like it a lot better than the GS Type 1. So my vote has changed from the GS Type 1 to the Safetran Type 3.
