Not really something I think about too often...
But overall, if I had to pick, I'd go with the mini-bell.
They/Them for me, please.

I actually had a hard time choosing what my overall favorite bell is since there were a couple that I like. :LOL2: I had a choice of either choosing safetran mechanical bell or wch mechanical because those were the common bells in my area, and are both my favorites for m bells. In the end, I chose safetran mechanical as I always liked the design of their bells especially the 2nd gens. Still shame they're becoming extinct in Independence, MO. :Awww:
Proud owner of a safetran mechanical bell and Griswold mechanical bell along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

You forgot Bryant zinc, and that would be my choice for favorite bell.
Bells go "ding". Lights go "flash". And the WCH Gate Mechanism at Kirkwood Road goes "chigRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr".
