I was streaming their coverage during the Hattiesburg tornado. They did a good job warning their viewers.
Amazingly, no reports of any fatalities yet. Usually it is apparent pretty quickly after the storm whether or not there have been a lot of deaths (Tuscaloosa, AL 4/27/11, Joplin, MO 5/22/11) and that is about the best case scenario considering that a long-duration, possibly violent (greater than EF3) tornado hit a city.

Re: Severe Weather in Mississippi
Yeah, with my experience with storms and what not, I would say (but my guess) on the damage on the Hattiesburg, MS tornado, based on the damages I seen on T.V. and the internet, I would say it'll be in the high EF-3 or EF-4 levelAndyWS wrote:Thunder audible on WDAM live stream a few moments ago.

Also, Hattiesburg happen to be in my (crossing) area also, I even got a couple signals planned out to get in Hattiesburg, If I did know a tornado was going to strike Hattiesburg, I would of went.
