And here I thought it was spring!
Believe it or not, I was actually thinking about getting my lawn mower out this weekend! Looks like I might need my snow shovel instead!

Hehe, just goes to show you the weather can change just like *snaps fingers* that. We've had nor'easters hit in April before. Thankfully, the lowest temp forecasted this week is 45, which means RAIN, and lots of it. As a result, some areas are under a flood watch.
And speaking of floods, how about that Red River flood in North Dakota?

Light breeze down there? We have a wind advisory here, and Northern Arizona has a High Wind Watch.
We could be looking for wind gusts to 40 MPH here.

It was gorgeous, 72 and sunny in Overland Park last weekend. It was 30 and snowing all day today. And I thought Oregon had bi-polar weather.
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

Re: And here I thought it was spring!
Well the storm tracked Northwest of here, and the watch turned into a snow advisory. But we still got over 3 inches of VERY wet snow overnight Saturday night / Sunday morning. By noon, the sun had come out and the temperature made it into the upper 40's, so most of that 3 inches was gone by evening.
Today, it is almost 60, and we are expecting thunderstorms tomorrow. Just goes to show, you never know what is going to happen until it does!

Re: And here I thought it was spring!
We'll only be in the mid 40s on Saturday with lots of wind, and mixed rain and snow showers (snow basically limited to higher elevations).
As for tomorrow, lots and lots of rain and even some more thunder!

Re: And here I thought it was spring!
Well, we didn't get any thunder, but today we're getting LOTS of wind and rain. Our power even went out for about an hour (probably related to the wind). We'll make it to 50 tomorrow and Monday and then it's back in the 40s until Thursday. The whole time, it remains VERY unsettled.
