New Idea... Good or not?
I've been thinking about something that may help some people out.
Should I start a new section on the site for MSTS downloads? This would just apply to signal and sign parts, and having nothing to do with locomotives or routes.
Maybe this can help speed things up for getting some stuff back online?

So far I like where this is headed.
Re: New Idea... Good or not?
I'd say go for it, even though I don't have MSTS anymore.
I uninstalled it from my computer and don't plan to reinstall it because it took up too many system resources. You'd think a 2008-purchased new laptop with a dual-core processor and 3 GB of RAM could handle it, but no, after running the more detailed routes I downloaded for awhile, it would start to run slow as molasses and the frame rate would get all jerky. A lot of times it would even freeze solid and/or crash to the desktop.

How about video RAM? Before I lost my 128 MB video card, I was running an 8 MB card, which worked very poorly. My 128 was good, but not perfect. Put on a 512 MB or 1 GB video card, and it should work great.

If submissions stay light this week (and likely will be), I'll see about getting some pages ready ahead of time, but I'll need the files sent to me (with screenshots, preferably very closeup with a white background) to make this work.

Is there any way that the MSTS updates can/will start up again?
Proud owner of a Safetran 3rd Gen M-Bell, a GS Type 2 bell, a dead GS type 1 bell, a WRRS M-bell, and a US&S H-2 searchlight signal.
Why does everyone copy my signature?
OG signal collection signature, I think.
