Does anyone here have, or know someone who has Model Railroading magazine?
If so, here's a proposition I have:
If there are any articles in any issues that show how to make HO scale crossing signals, please do the following:
Please scan the article, or send the whole issue to me.
Here's what you'll get:
Scan the article: Free $8 DVD, or two $4 DVDs.
Send the issue: Free $12 DVD, an $8 and a $4, or three $4 DVDs.
Things may be coming around to where I may be able to try to make some signals. I'd need a little bit of advice on how to make the signals. I have an idea on how to make some signals, but I'd like some other opinions as well.

Re: Build HO signals?
Mike,Model Railroader had an article in Nov.1987 issue on how to make the Griswold Crossing Signal on the pedestal mount with wishbone gate arms, the crossing lights were lit on both sides not just one side like the NJ International ones.I too have been trying to get that issue because I love those style of gates and would love to see them produced with the crossing lights lit on both sides.I don't know how to do the lights on the gate arms but the signals are made out of brass. If I had access to the article I would send it to you.Look forward to seeing your signals.

Re: Build HO signals?
Ironically, the signals I was thinking of making resemble Griswold type B lights. I have a theory, but I need to make a prototype to make sure.
If you find the 1987 issue, can you scan it?

Okay. That'll work too.
