WCH bell casting diffrences

So I have noticed that my WCH bell has a different logo cast in the back of it. I have included photos of both (I only own one WCH bell, the other photo was coped from an ebay listing.) What's the reason for the difference?

You have an older bell by Federal Signals. It was the predecessor to WCH.

Federal Signals existed from 1968-1977. WCH exists from 1977 to Today.

You have a somewhat rare bell there. Cherish it.

Just as a side note, WRRS (predecessor to Federal Signals) existed from 1932-1968.

That makes perfect sense! When I git my bell, I also got some paperwork from inside the crossing electronics case, which stated that the current signals had been installed by BN in 1973.

From the 1970's?
