Fire fighting train?

thats a good idea! if they dont have that in the U.S. yet, they should!

It wouldn't work here. No rails exist here anymore. They were ripped out 21 years ago.

I have to agree... I can't see how this train would do much good unless the fire happened right next to the tracks. Although maybe they could pump water from the train to a fire truck if it was within a few miles of the fire?

It could've worked in the old LA Harbor area. There were SO many tracks and crossings at the time that it may have worked.
