bad train horns

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

I think this one takes the cake. It sounds like a little bicycle horn!

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

In recent times, the Canadian-tuned K5HLs heard on new GE units don't sound the correct D minor chord, or sound a dischord.

The American-tuned K5LLA hasn't fared much better, sounding various dischords other than the intended dischord.

And new locomotives already have horn problems.

BNSF ES44DC #7729 has a K5HL

with 2 bells silent.

Click here to hear this bad horn. :Curse1:

Also, a S-3L that should be replaced.

Mike, you've gotten videos with horns like that twice.
One was in Flagstaff in 1997 at Enterprise Rd,
The other was in Banning, CA at 22 St. in 2005.
