Brick... I'm disappointed. How could you have missed that this crossing was next to a tornado siren?

I wondered where the siren was in that town.

Active crossing:

Active crossing. If you get closer to it, you can see them go around the gates:
https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=3 ... -1.46&z=17

They were in the crossing when it started up:
https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=3 ... 10.99&z=18

Yet another one:

If you move forward and look at the cantilever, the lights are mounted off center. Kind of odd because they are normal on the opposite one.
I don't like how they set up that signal
Get closer to the crossing and you see a new gate mast. I bet the cantilevers are for a replacement crossing. :OhWell:

You may be right... but I'm thinking it was a gateless crossing for awhile (with just the cantilevers) and the gates were added at some point recently.

No, no, no.
Union Pacific standard is/was to install the gates in-front of the cantilevers, Heck just look at the concrete base its all one big slab.
Also back in the late 80's early 90's UP started using Harmon for crossing equipment, with the exception of lights and cantilevers, it was short lived.

People who need a foot up their Ass affect the lives of many. There is still no cure for someone who needs a foot up their Ass, except a foot up their Ass
I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.
