Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad Crossing

Hi all. I just got back from an overseas trip to Hong Kong and visited Disneyland. While there, I managed to get some footage of one of the crossings on the Disneyland Railroad in operation:

This is one of three active crossings on the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad. The setup uses all WCH equipment and includes a mechanical bell and incandescent lights! The signals have been custom painted in green to blend in with the aesthetics of the park. Hong Kong doesn't have any real railroad crossings on its public train network, so these signals were imported for use in the park by Disney!

I'm surprised on how the "STOP ON RED SIGNAL" sign isn't in Chinese. Especially the fact that the crossing signals were imported for use.

Well that is pretty interesting! I remember seeing an image somewhere of American signals being used at Hong Kong Disneyland. What are the crossbucks like? It is kind of hard to tell in the video.

I am positive those crossbucks are the American style crossbucks. This is what a Chinese crossbuck looks like to an American version.

The country of Hong Kong doesn't have any "real" railroad crossings (as all their rail systems are either built underground or elevated above the city), so these are indeed the only form of crossings in the entire country!
