Interesting mechanical bell.

Someone in a group that I am apart of on Facebook recently posted an image of an old signal with a strange looking mechanical bell. Very different from any mechanical bell that I've seen!

It's come up a few times here in the past. RRS and WRRS made them, and they appear to be rather rare. I have to wonder if any are even still in service.

Personally, they kinda remind me of bells that you'd find in Italy and eastern Europe.

I doubt it but you never know! Maybe there is one that has been purposely been preserved, not sure if the FRA would allow that though even if it hasn't been purposely preserved.

Interesting, I never knew these were used in tandem with crossing signals!
