Interesting Dialight railroad preemption.

It isn't everyday that you see a Y-Y-R signal being used as a preemption signal. Kind of odd that they only have one signal.

There is also this abandon crossing not too far from the crossing.

Not really abandoned, probably just taken out of service, as it has new blue DOT tags and an NEG e-bell on one of the signals. In fact, the grass was cut along the line recently.
They/Them for me, please.

I think this has been posted here before. The CSX worker probably let them go around the gates as it appears that they were working on the crossing.

That crossing has pedestrian gates. That is kind of unusual for Florida. The crossings with sidewalks that Brightline will operate over have had pedestrian gates added to them.

I think that sign means that the driver needs to stop and leave the locomotive.

Those signs were common on passive crossings in Florida and they are still somewhat common today.

That's total power failure with a dead battery backup.

Course I've never been to Tampa, my trip to America is 3 and a half weeks away. At least thanks to Alan Smith i would see what the equipment in downtown Tampa is. Lights and bells attached to traffic signals with a track that runs down the middle of the street that is used by CSX for their so called street running service. But theres no chance of me getting to Tampa. Orlando it is.

Actually, looks like those signals there are somehow covered in road grime, unlike the ones in downtown Tampa which are painted black. Especially considering the fact that the signals from the gate mech down got a fresh coat of silver paint and used to look much, much cleaner back in 2011:

Especially since the previous 1980s CSX install there was equally as dirty by the time it was removed:
