Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

The bulbs behind the lenses must've been too high of a voltage, and/or have the lights behind them stay on for extended periods of time.
Before LED's became all the rage, that happened quite a bit. Especially on signals that didn't change very often, such as pedestrian signals with push buttons, or traffic lights that operated on sensors and didn't cycle constantly.

Being that they are incandescent... they are likely burnt out. Especially if the ped signals only operate when the buttons are pushed. That was also "the norm" back in the day before LED's became prevalent.

Classic worded pedestrian signals in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. That is the town with the Connecticut Trolley Museum which has the very old wishbone gates.

I remember seeing that before. They had to have known ahead of time that streetview was coming through. Kind of unusual seeing clear streetviews like that from 2008 in the United States.

That almost reminds me of what these two guys did in Edinburgh!

Is this a railroader? I don't see a train or a railroad vehicle anywhere.
