Yes it appears to be still working, at least as of 2014. It looks like that one on the right has double reds which might explain the 4 sections. However, the one on the left just has one light illuminated, and it looks like it's yellow. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7201668 ... 312!8i6656

Technically that's a passive crossing and not one protected by signals, since the signals likely serve the intersection there. Although they probably do enter a preemption cycle when a train is approaching.
