Out of service, FYI.

This would be a great crossing to film at, if only CSX didn't use the crossing twice a week! :Cry1:

Interesting set up on this crossing at an intersection in Provo, Utah. I guess if you want to turn right while there is a train you are out of luck.

No it's not a great crossing to film at. Too much automobile traffic at all times of the day, and the neighborhood is sketchy as well. Plus, there'd be nowhere to park, and if you tried to park at a nearby business, they could easily tow your vehicle.

Plus, that RoW looks like it needs maintenance. Those weeds needs to go. :aaargh:

Twice a week might even pushing it I'm afraid. That's a spur line that services a bottling plant.

Not gonna lie, the last time I even heard anything on that line while being out was all the way back in 2012.

Well i've had a look at other crossings.

One crossing sees around 5 trains a day, 5 during the night, and 5 locals during any time, CMIIW. The only problem is the line speed is 10mph, probably because its part of the "Tampa Terminal Subdivision"

Orlando is good in general, you see SunRail and Amtrak every 30 minutes, and the odd CSX (Usually they run at night, and sometimes even in the day) Only problem? Outdated and incorrect FRA data. Says only 4 trains run in the day and 6 at night, they haven't been updated since August 2012, IIRC.

Other than the one median signal, that's an old late-1980s CSX install!
They/Them for me, please.
