That looks to be on a private road so that is probably why it is unprotected.

Always seems like large cantilevers tend to be on crossings that don't have much train traffic.

Kind of odd seeing a speed limit sign on a crossbuck pole.

More like the crossbuck's on a speed limit sign pole because the town's too cheap to install a separate post for the crossbuck.
They/Them for me, please.

I wonder if this signal at the Halton County Radial Railway Museum in Milton, Ontario originally had a 45 degree crossbuck.

Wishbone gate with unusual striping!

Some classic EM mechs

Anyone know why that wishbone has striping like that? never seen that before around Washington State.

Nice find!

Almost looks like the cantilevers there are being used as side lights!

https://www.google.com/maps/@46.4036284 ... 312!8i6656

I do have to wonder if the wishbone is still there though... I don't see anything unusual about the stripping though.

The striping is thinner than usual, it seems. Also, the cantilevers are likely turned to the side as it appears the crossing's out of service. The rails around it are certainly rusty:

Also, can't make anything out very well on satellite view, aside from the rotated cantilevers and those huge drums of something, but it doesn't appear that the gates are there anymore.
They/Them for me, please.

Only the cantilever arms are turned though. The mast lights still face the road.
