Leftover signal from before the turn restriction was added. Railroad simply never took down the cantilever, that's all.

That is a rail trail right there. Not uncommon for these things to pay some sort of homage to their old past

That's actually an old gateless CofG install, with the original WRRS bell on one signal! It appears that the SOU did upgrade the original WRRS lights at some point though. Nice to see another split crossbuck on that line here in Alabama as well. :TUP2:

At least it was an upgrade to 8" lights, and not 12" lights :TUP2:

That is a huge crossing though! If I counted correctly, it has 19 tracks going across it! :Ohmy:
