MI bell restore

Post by Geochurchi »

Hi All, I am trying to restore a MI bell, seems like all the parts are there and move freely, what and how should I test? Also have a WRRS bell that is in about the same condition.

Hook it up to a 12VDC transformer or battery, and see if it runs.
They/Them for me, please.

It runs intermittently and not loud, they are both doing the same with 12VDC connected.

Wonder if the gong needs rotation, or if the hammer's starting to get worn...
