Crossing gate lights

Post by Geochurchi »

Hi All, what type of flashing device can be used for the lights ,12 VDC supply available, I have tried automobile flashers but can’t seem to get them to work, there are Wig Wag flasher also but look like they flicker and flash, looking for something inexpensive.

From what I recall, they're just run off of the same flasher relays as the rest of the lights at a crossing.
They/Them for me, please.

A railroad crossing light cannot flash without a flasher. If you don't have one, then just have it light solid if you need to test and see if it works.
