Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Far median signal: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Near median signal: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 e-bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

The previous signals were four gateless mast signals with a mixture of Safetran and WCH 12x24 inch incandescent lights and two General Signals e-bells. However, in the fall of 2015, the ATN decided to upgrade the crossing to this set-up. No idea why they went from two bells to one bell; I guess it was cheaper.

Also, this was my first time hearing a GS Type 3 in person!

You can see the old set-up on street view still: https://www.google.com/maps/@34.2794334 ... 6656?hl=en

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Far median signal: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After the ATN finished switching up in Guntersville, they had to wait a while for permission before being able to continue on south. Eventually, the train did get permission, but after switching the customer to the north of this crossing, the train had to wait a while longer (it appears) for permission to continue south, also likely waiting on a new crew. While watching them switch, there were also some signal maintainers here doing some work, so I got a bunch of videos of this crossing in action.

There's been a few changes here since I last recorded this crossing in 2016. First off, the far median signal appears to have been replaced entirely for some reason, and now sports all WCH 2nd Generation LEDs. All but one of the gate arms here were replaced as well, though I believe all of the gate lights are still RECO LEDs. Interestingly enough, the maintainers here were actively installing the new gate arm on the median signal when I first arrived, though I believe the gate mech was replaced as well, for some reason. No other major changes worth noting here currently, though one of the LEDs on the left-hand signal is starting to go dead, it appears.

No changes to this crossing as of 7-5-20, but I did finally catch another train rolling through it:

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Far median signal: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Near median signal: 2.5 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light with a WCH 2nd Generation LED, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching Y102 in Guntersville, I chased them on down to this crossing next. After a bit of waiting, Y102 pulled-up to work Colormaster just north of this crossing, getting close enough to cause this crossing to time-out.
After catching this crossing timing-out, I stuck around a bit to see if I could get the train poking into the crossing at all while working. Sure enough, after a bit of waiting, I was able to get ATN Y102 pulling-up to the crossing, though not quite entering it. Good enough for my purposes though, so I went onto another nearby crossing for my third crossing of the day.
Amusingly, with the 18-wheeler that ran the crossing, it seems it didn't quite make it as the right-hand signal's gate arm can be seen bouncing-off the rear corner of its trailer, though thankfully without damaging the gate arm any.

Since I last filmed this crossing, the closer median signal here had one of its side lights replaced with what appears to have been a reused Safetran 12x24 inch head. Not entirely sure which crossing this would've come from, though I suspect it may have been McKinney Avenue here in Albertville. Either way, this light-head features another WCH 2nd Generation LED in it like the head it replaced. Nothing else appears to have changed to this crossing.
