On September 26th, I went up to the part of the CSX S&NA North Sub in Tennessee to get the more interesting crossings I had yet to record along the mainline recorded. While I was waiting for a train here, Ethan came down to meet-up with me, and after a bit of waiting, the first train we saw came through: CSX Q026 with an ET44AH leading an ES44AH, nothing really too special.

This crossing is a pretty nice one, being essentially a pure 2011 CSX install with only the gate arms and gate lights (and ENS signs) having been replaced. As such, it thankfully still retains one of the last two Safetran Type 3 e-bells on the CSX S&NA North Sub. These signals were also likely some of the last ones installed before CSX started using WCH equipment again with side-mounted NEG e-bells. Certainly glad to have finally been able to record it.
Prior to these signals being installed, there was a pair of gateless L&N signals that had had the lights and bell upgraded in the 90s/2000s. This crossing is also marked as a local point of interest on Google Maps.

After catching M648 in Tanner, @YourPalTina_ and I chased it on north, stopping briefly at the Buccee's in Athens for a bathroom break. Thinking it was well ahead of us, we wound-up seeing it stopped at North End Carey Siding for some reason. Thinking it was waiting to meet a southbound, we continued north to here, but weirdly didn't hear anything over the scanner. We got here and waited almost 1.5 hours before anything came, and it wound-up being M648 again. Not entirely sure why this train got held-up at Carey, but it appears that I026 got caught by the detector between Woodrow and Diana, so I suspect that might've had something to do with it.

As you can see, since I last recorded this crossing, CSX has replaced the tip gate light on the closer signal with a new RECO LED gate light. Thankfully, nothing else major or important here has changed, so both signals still largely remain the same. I'm especially glad to see the Safetran Type 3 e-bell's still here, especially since it's one of the last two Safetran Type 3s on the CSX S&NA North Subdivision.
Also, as a bit of a fun fact, this is the only signalized crossing in Lincoln County, TN.
