*originally recorded on 9-16-23*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

This was the twelfth crossing I caught the Summerville Steam Special at. I had managed to get ahead of them before the north side of Summerville, so I quickly pulled-over at this crossing, and was able to get set-up for them with no more than a minute to spare.

This crossing is another rather nice one, featuring another late-90s CCKY install that's still largely original. In fact, up until at least 2021, this crossing was pretty much entirely original. Unfortunately, sometime between @EthantheRailfanner 's visit to the crossing in August of 2021 and street view coming through less than a year later in July of 2022, this crossing received an LED upgrade, with the lights being upgraded to GE Dotted LEDs. Thankfully, the rest of the original equipment is still here for the most part, including the WCH mechanical bell here. The closer signal also still features what appears to be the original diagonally-striped gate arm on it, which is quite nice to see. This crossing is also located at an entrance to the Highlands Plaza shopping center, anchored by a Walmart supermarket that can be seen in the background to the left of the crossing.
