Woodall Road, near Trinity, AL
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
I have now recorded all three Safetran Type 2 bells on the NS Memphis District East End!

Got another video of this crossing on 9-12-18. Only change was that the right-hand gate arm was replaced:

Got another video here on 3-10-24. It had a strange malfunction about the time the gates began to lower, as the signals seemingly "reset".
They/Them for me, please.

Re: Woodall Road, near Trinity, AL
*originally recorded on 6-20-24*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
After I caught 734 leaving Leighton, I decided to chase it back east towards Huntsville as I wanted to ensure I was able to get some more crossings recorded. I decided to head for this one since I could film it on the northern side of the crossing this time around. Here we see NS 734 once again on its journey east towards Georgia.
It appears a couple of changes have occurred here since I last recorded this crossing. First, and more noticeably, NS has replaced the front-left light on the far signal with a newer Safetran 12x20, though this doesn't affect what equipment can be found here that much. Second, the tip gate light on the closer signal was replaced with a RECO LED gate light at some point, though I'm not entirely sure when. Thankfully, no other changes appear to have occurred to these 90s NS signals, and they even still retain their Safetran/GS Type 2 pair, which is nice to see. I believe this is the only NS crossing to feature such a pair at it, in fact. The failing flasher relay is also still here, as the lights hold on the normally-closed contacts of the relay about the time the gates here begin to descend.

*originally recorded on 4-26-25*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
On April 26th, vtgrxrman and I went out to see about recording a siren test in Bartlett, TN. Unfortunately, Bartlett didn't test on this day, but we still had a fun daytrip out regardless. On our way out, we wound-up getting ahead of an A23 as we were going through Decatur, so we chased it over to this crossing just east of Trinity. Thankfully, we were able to beat it here with about two minutes to spare, and here we get to see our first train of the day: NS A23 with an AC44C6M leading an SD70ACe on the head-end and another AC44C6M working as the mid-train DPU. The defect detector just west of this crossing can be heard reading-out after the signals deactivate.
Since I was last here, NS has replaced the gate lights on the closer signal here with a set of RECO LED gate lights. Thankfully, nothing else appears to have changed to this crossing since I last recorded it.
