*originally recorded on 2-8-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a dead General Signals (Type 2?) electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.

355 was meeting a northbound (which I had assumed to be 16T) at Whitney, just to my south, so, after catching it, I hopped on down here to see about recording it. Unfortunately, the northbound didn't get going until well after dark, so I had to re-angle my car and turn on my brights to help light-up the crossing. Unfortunately, with the angle I had to point my car at, I think I wound-up spooking the train crew some, so apologies for that if either of y'all are watching.
Either way, the train I wound-up getting here turned-out to be a northbound grain train, which had an AC44C6M leading an ES44AC for power. After this, I went on back home to Huntsville given how late it was getting.

This crossing is another decent one, featuring another early-2000s NS install that's still largely original. Like with Deerman's Chapel Road, this crossing still features its original diagonally-striped gate arms, though they were restriped at some point with newer vertical striping. A bit of the original striping can be seen towards the bases of both gate arms here as well, however.
