*originally recorded on 2-22-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a Siemens gate mechanism, NEG LED gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After catching 345, I hopped on down to this crossing to wait for my next train. After a little while of waiting, I was able to catch my third train of the day: NS 123 with an AC44C6M pulling on the head-end and an ES44AC working as the train's DPU. There was also a friendly crew aboard this train who gave me a horn salute as they passed, which was nice.
The Hixson DD, located just north of this crossing, can be heard reading-out after the train has passed.

This crossing is a pretty decent one, though it currently features a modern pair of rather tall gated mast signals at it. It appears that, originally, there was a pair of gated signals installed by the late-SOU here in the early-1980s, but, in the late-90s, NS replaced them with another, newer pair of gated signals. These signals remained basically untouched until sometime between 2020 and 2021, when NS replaced them once again with the current ones. Definitely a shame that the late-90s signals here are long-gone, especially since they still had their original GS Type 1. However, the tall signals here are definitely a bit unusual, so I'm glad to have gotten them recorded. Thankfully, @RaisedLetter has a video of the older signals here on his channel.
