Mike's Railroad Crossing Forum

Here's something I was thinking about the other day regarding this crossing:

Couldn't they go ahead and put a gate on the other side in the same place as where the cantilever is? Yes, I realize it would be on the "wrong" side of the road and there is the potential for someone to get trapped... but they could have that gate on a bit of a delay like they do for 4 quad crossings.

Just something I was thinking about.

Engineer blasting the horn?
What a stupid woman to assume the stopped train could be the only one.
She at least should have rolled windows down a little to hear the horn better and get an idea.
