From what I see on the stamps on the pictures, you have 2 different cameras...
One says you have a Canon Powershot SD790IS
The other says you have a Canon Powershot SD300.
I looked up the information for the Powershot SD790IS...
According to the manual, it says to:
1) Press the "FUNC SET" button.
2) Press the up and down buttons until you see an icon on the LCD screen showing an "S". It should be the last icon selectable on the far lower left part of the LCD screen.
When you get to the "S"...
3) Press the left and right buttons. The cursor should be on "S", for 640x480.
Change it to M3, and then press "FUNC SET" to save the changes. Try that.
If your camera is really the Powershot SD300, let me know, and I can find the directions for that camera.

Looking at the Powershot SD300 manual, the instructions aren't too much different than that of the SD790IS, but the resolutions are a little different.
If you have this camera, change it from the "S" icon to either the "M1" or "M2" setting. M1 is 1600x1200 resolution, and M2 is 1024x768.

Very good. Glad you were able to change it.
I haven't gotten any of the Swarthout Canyon changes for about 2-3 years now. I wish someone could get out there one day...

I am not going out there again until June. But, when I do go, I will go between Riverside and Tehachapi, I will stop there along the way.
A Nice Ferromex locomotive speeds by Crockett Street in Liberty, TX. Yes, the left light is burned out.

Cool
be sure to look these two links over

Then when you go out you'll know what shots to get, if the pictures turn out good enough we'll post them on the site.
