Well then call out the signal maintainer to come fix it,
Also break away adapters are built to avoid the gate randomly falling off onto the road, they rotate and will fall perpendicular to the gate mech.

The only problem with signal maintainers in Florida is that they take forever to get there. It would be a stroke of luck if they got there within 20 minutes
