I thought it would be worth bumping this thread to mention that this signal has been updated with LED lights.NSrailfan4life wrote:

Re: Different crossings with old signals.
Both signals have. All of the US&S and Safetran 8 inch lights there got replaced, along with the WCH mechanical bell (which must've replaced a Teardrop some years ago). It seems CSX has decided to adopt the standard of upgrading all of the lights on their gateless crossings to LED in every state that isn't Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or Indiana.ToledoRailfan wrote:I thought it would be worth bumping this thread to mention that this signal has been updated with LED lights.NSrailfan4life wrote:

I would like to add Florida to that list, or at least amend "lights on their gateless crossings to LED" to "8" lights on their gateless crossings to LED" since there are still quite a few 12x24" gateless signals with incandescents around here.freebrickproductions wrote:Both signals have. That's what they've done here in Alabama as well (though a few have been replaced with incandescents), and on a line up in Nashville, TN.ZachL wrote:I would like to add Florida to that list, or at least amend "lights on their gateless crossings to LED" to "8" lights on their gateless crossings to LED" since there are still quite a few 12x24" gateless signals with incandescents around here.freebrickproductions wrote:Both signals have. Re: Different crossings with old signals.
I've also seen incandescent replacements happen here as well, but the incandescents seem to be either refurbished or slightly-used.freebrickproductions wrote:That's what they've done here in Alabama as well (though a few have been replaced with incandescents), and on a line up in Nashville, TN.ZachL wrote:I would like to add Florida to that list, or at least amend "lights on their gateless crossings to LED" to "8" lights on their gateless crossings to LED" since there are still quite a few 12x24" gateless signals with incandescents around here.freebrickproductions wrote:Both signals have.
