Here is one in Montevideo (the capital of Uruguay) with teardrop bells! This was found by McK&H.Aust.

It looks as if those bells are WABCO teardrops.

I wonder why this road has never had an overpass built. Its just a open grade crossing on a freeway. :Blink:

That crossing has been posted here in the past. And the reason being is because it's technically not a freeway (although parts of US-127 through Michigan are freeway-level).

That crossing has been posted here in the past. And the reason being is because it's technically not a freeway (although parts of US-127 through Michigan are freeway-level).
You can find quite a few crossings such as this one in central/northern Wisconsin... around the Green Bay area especially. I've also seen roads like this in Iowa.

As Zach mentioned, although the roads are 4 lanes... and in some cases have exits and entrances like an interstate would (especially in larger cities), it is not officially a freeway/interstate. Which means you can find driveways leading up to residences along with standard 4 way intersections with traffic lights in some areas.

Looks like they wanted to replace the signals but they never did.

This nearby crossing looked like it was going to be upgraded from passive to traffic signal controlled but for some reason they never were.
