Also chance to see an active crossing, one of the dock entrances on John S Gibson road by the 110 Freeway was active, the train was parked there for a long while. It was still there when I was leaving San Pedro
Looks like it was active in December 2017 as well:

Didn't you forget September 2014, this crossing was active: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.7564387 ... 312!8i6656

Right, but that was 2014 when the Red Car Line was still in service.

Just went back to San Pedro earlier tonight. the Red Car is still out of service and now it looks like several crossings were taken out going toward where Ports O'Call was at.

Also I did see a rare signal activation there too.

I saw this one as it was about to activate.

Also saw an active crossing in the port of long beach after going through a detour after crossing the old Gerald Desmund bridge (might I add, the new bridge looks pretty cool though it's not finished yet)

It was the Pier B St crossing.

Ive never seen them bother to bag lights when a line is taken out of service. I do like how they replaced the crossbucks with TRACKS OUT OF SERVICE signs. It makes more sense than leaving the crossbucks. My reasoning is that crossbucks warn drivers to look for/expect trains, a condition that is not met when a line is out of service

just a few hours ago I was in San Pedro and noticed that the cantilever signal on Pacific Ave and N Front Street was removed, the smaller signal is still there but it might be on the chopping block too.

Google Maps haven't updated that spot since this past April but it is gone, also it looks like the traffic signals will be updated too
