I dont mind heights. SO I can walk across cantilevers without hesitation. If I were to be a maintainer, I would love to work with cantilevers.

In Longview, WA, there are several crossings on the Columbia & Cowlitz line that still that their original cantilever frames.

Washington Way has 12*20'' lights on the cantilevers, and on the gate masts that were installed more recently, hence the mast in front of cantilever. The WCH M-bell on the east signal silences when gates are down, and rings again when they go up.
Also note the STOP ON RED SIGNAL signs.

30th St's setup is similar, with sidelights & a no right turn light pointed at a road joining at the crossing.

Looks like there are 2 gate lights installed above the cantilever lights... I guess to let the train know the signals are working? Both these cantilevers have them, and it looks like the one's on Washington Way also have them.

Yes; I believe those are for the train crews. All of the C&C's grade crossings have them.
columbia & c
They're mounted in the position where the bells were on the original setups; like I said above, the gates were added later.

Here's a side view of 30th St's Bell signal in action.
