The Quiet zones do go into effect March 1, 2010, however there's going to be a celebration on March 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM MST for the "last horn".

In the second link, there's even a short video showing both the Wayside horns and train horns working at the same time at the Fanning crossing.

wow, no more train horns. The train activity has slowed down a lot, so 60 sounds about right. I am making a trip up there in early April, so i will report on that when i go up there.
