Is the one about the mattress just a law that's still on the books and hasn't been removed, or can you genuinely not buy a mattress in Washington on Sundays?

Not sure. The webpage I got it off of (in my previous post) doesn't have any explanation to it.

Heres some strange Florida laws.

"Florida (accidentally) banned all computers and smart phones in internet cafes"

"Doors of all public buildings must open outwards."

"It is illegal to sell your children"

"Penalty for horse theft is death by hanging." (Should be declared unconstitutional)

"Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal."

"It is illegal to skateboard without a license."

That one kinda makes sense, and I think it's also part of the national building code laws as well. The main reason is that, should a fire break-out in a crowded building, the rush of people at the doors would be less likely to jam the doors if they opened outwards rather than inwards.
These fires are the main reason why that is such:

In response, here's a daft law of your state.
Putting salt on a railroad track may be punishable by death.

Why is it illegal to put salt on a railroad track anyway?

EDIT: Oh wait, it corrodes metal and damages the tracks.

Let's see. the weird laws in the great state of Louisiana......

*It's a $500 fine to deliver a pizza to a friend without their authorization.
*It's 10 years in prison for stealing an alligator and keeping it as a pet.
*It's illegal to steal crawfish
*It's illegal to rob a bank with a water gun.
*One may not “dare” another to go onto railroad tracks owned by another.

The $500 pizza thing..... You expect me to pay $520 for a large pizza for my friend for a surprise gift, what a complete ripoff...

I think the pizza law would really only be enforced if the recipient didn't want pizza. Even then, the police might only give a warning to the person who did it as they have better things to do than to fine people over pizza.

In Tennessee, no matter if your helping a friend. It is illegal to share your Netflix password, this is because of some sort of password thingy.

I should've pointed out, i had that in the OP, FYI.

Here's some weird Ohio laws.

"It is illegal for more than five women to live in a house."
"No civil arrests may be made on Sunday or on the Fourth of July"
"It is illegal to fish for whales on Sunday."
"The Ohio driver’s education manual states that you must honk the horn whenever you pass another car."
"Participating or conducting a duel is prohibited."

Now for some city laws.
Akron.
"It is illegal to display colored chickens for sale."
"No person shall solicit sex from another of the same gender if it offends the second person."
"Skateboarding in the city limits after dark is prohibited."
Bay Village
"It is illegal to walk a cow down Lake Road"
Canton
"Electric fences are banned"
"If one loses their pet tiger, they must notify the authorities within one hour."
"Power Wheels® cars may not be driven down the street."
"It is a misdemeanor to play any game in a public park without the Superintendent’s permission."
Cincinnati
"Anal intercourse is banned"
"Cleveland"
Women are forbidden from wearing patent leather shoes, lest men see reflections of their underwear.
It’s illegal to catch mice without a hunting license!
Youngstown
"You may not run out of gas"

I didn't feel like putting every single weird law in.
