I think it is a UP line.. Those ASC e-bells are not in Tucson. It's near and at Globe-Miami. Take a look at the posts I made in the Safetran Hybrid and US&S Teardrop section. Those are in the same areas too.

The other side of the crossing has a Safetran hybrid. Street view doesn't have a good view of it, but this is the signal that it's on:

Yeah, that is an odd setup. Coaster has a similar mounting on the ped crossings at Encinitas and Carlsbad Village, but in between the light brackets as opposed to just above the gate mechanism. Maybe it has something to do with acoustics and/or audibility?
