Also notice a signal maintainer is working on the crossing closest to the camera. The signals are originally on when the video starts... and he shuts them off with the train about 2 blocks from the crossing. The signals do re-activate on their own though.

Sunbury, PA (brought to my attention in that thread with the picture of the NS GP38-2) has one heck of a "Grade Crossing Alley." All of them are 8" and ungated, too:

Try making that many crossings in a row in HO scale.
