Nope, we did not win, my channel was forced onto the new design today, damn it. Well I guess I'm gonna have to get used to it, 'cause there's no changing back now.

My old channel is already switched. My railfan one hasn't been yet, but it's only a matter of time.
My railfan one, HighIronofWisconsin, got switched a few days ago. I figured I'd make the best of it, and actually finally added a color theme and a background image. It doesn't look half bad. The thing I don't like the most is that you have to scroll down to read the channel info and description.
The way videos automatically play in the channel page is sometimes nice, sometimes not. I wish the default when you click on the video in the list to the right of the player would be to take you to the normal video page, where it plays with a larger screen size. The way it works now, with each video playing in the channel page player and requiring you to click on a second link to go to the normal video page, should be optional.
One other thing that I do like about the new channels is how you can jump directly to any upload or favorite on the channel from the lists to the right of the player, instead of having to click through multiple links. I have both my channels set to select the "Uploads" list by default so that users can scroll all the way down to the oldest video on the channel if they want.

In browsers that support tabs, if you click on a video's icon with your mouse's middle button or wheel,
the video's dedicated page will open in another browser tab.
Initially, I did not like the new channels; however, when the above feature was added, I changed my opinion on them.
