Wow, that crossing is barely abandon! Right on the edge! Literally! Probably one of the reasons that crossing still has new signage despite being out of service is just incase the cars ever get too close to the crossing.
Those cars look abandoned, though. I know a lot of railroads do that to discourage any further usage of lines that do indeed go out of service.

Why not? They see no traffic at all except for the occasional storage, if that. Beside, if you look at the Satellite view, the cars are still there between 3D on and 3D off, in addition to being there on Street View.

I think it's clear at this point that the line is abandoned.
But storage lines still see some use albeit barely any but that occasional use isn't nothing! Its not like spurs that see one train a week are abandon for six days!
