NJDOT began the $7.1 million project in February 2011 to reconstruct and widen sections of Route 9 between mileposts 3.9 and 5.7. The two new intersections have been created by extending Tabernacle Road and Breakwater Road to Route 9.
When the road was completed in May 2012, NJDOT installed railroad crossing signals, however. A month later in June 2012, The lights were turned sideways, the gates (excluding the pedestrian gates) were removed, and the Exempt signs were posted below the DO NOT STOP ON TRACKS sign.
Almost all of the equipment at Tabernacle Road is the same, except it has WCH 12x24 inch lights, except one of them have vanished!
I guess they used this crossing before they abandoned it, i don't know if it was present day Bay Line Railroad unless the other railroad that got succeeded by its present day name.

No I hadn't! It appears The Bay Line (which is a shortline that runs from Panama City, FL to Dothan, AL) operates over former L&N trackage.
Also, it appears the abandoned signal had Modern Industries 12x24s, WCH mechanical bells, and Safetran gate mechs.
The tracks were abandoned in early 90's by the CFMG/NBEC, the reason is unknown.

Gleeson Country Road https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2811123 ... 56!6m1!1e1
This crossing was located on the CN CASO sub, On May 8th 2011, CN announced that operations on the CASO sub would be ceased, Prior to removal of these signals, they had wigwags both sides with i believe is a WCH Mechanical Bell? The signals were removing shortly after the lines closure, the crossing grade was also resurfaced with concrete. Both sides of the tracks are overgrown and there is almost no trace of any equipment from the crossing to be found.

I don't really live that far from there. If only they were still there. They were the last known wigwags still in service in Canada.
I think this Wigwag at the Elgin County Railway Museum in St. Thomas, Ontario is one of them.
Stumbled across these defunct Australian Railroad Crossings.
The first crossing pops up just right next to Cranbourne Railway Station where an All-Change will happen.
Cranbourne, VIC https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-38.101 ... 312!8i6656
The signal on the left unsurprisingly has Alstom LED's in them?

The bell there could be either a Modern Industries mechanical bell or either a Safetran or Griswold mechanical bell! It has been repainted though. These signals were removed a few years ago.
Tooradin, VIC https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-38.169 ... 328!8i1664
Just a simple Give Way crossing.
Fast forward to 2010, there is a crash barrier protecting the eastbound tracks and a 2014 shot of the crossing shows a access gate to the west with a sign saying "NO UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS"
And that is when the tracks end. It would've been for a freight railroad as there aren't any passenger stations across the way.
EDIT: spaced out all crossings to avoid confusion.

First crossing has a pair of Westinghouse LEDs. Second crossing had a Safetran mechanical bell.

Ah okay.
Bit of a shame to put a Safetran M-Bell to waste. Could've reused it.
