Old NP Mainline to Canada. Tracks end about 3 blocks south of this location. Don't know why this signal was modernized as the line was gone probably a year after they put it in..

It almost appears that an active line ends right here, maybe it is a storage line. And it looks like they still maintain it too as it was more overgrown back in September of 2014.

Edit: On Google Earth you can see MOW equipment being stored on the track south of the crossing, you can also see that the track north of the crossing has been cleared and also has MOW equipment being stored on it.

I wonder what happened here?! Maybe they had to removed the crossbuck but they didn't feel like doing anything with it.
