Saw a photo of this... these cantilevers are in Gillette, Wyoming. Anyone ever seen that contraption on top with the spring? It appears it may have something to do with the ladder...

Active crossing in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Also, notice the "slug" off to the right.

Talent, Oregon. I'm assuming just 1 gate because the building blocks the view... but this just looks odd. Plus the non-gated signal has a gate guard?

There is no name on the cover and it looks like a bad fit, maybe a custom made job to replace the original. It does look like a WCH from the road but i'm not sure.

Nice old cantilever with Griswold lights

I don't think I've seen gate mechanisms like that before! I think they might be Raco hydraulic gate mechanisms but I'm not familar with Raco hydraulic gate mechanisms so I don't know for sure.

It looks like it could have been one, if so it would have been a very old one as the first wig-wags had wooden brackets and were small due to smaller roads and vehicles, and the road has moved since it was in service unless the support bracket was moved.

Here are some crossings that I found in the area, there are a lot of crossings in that area!

Check out this setup! A lot of old equipment too!

-----------------------------------------
They should have another post with a crossbuck on the other side of the crossing instead of just one with two crossbucks, could this be an FRA violation? Although I do think this line could be out of service. https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0000265 ... 312!8i6656
-----------------------------------------
Here are some nice old 8'' signals with cab signals! I wonder if this crossing is owned by a short-line? https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0049165 ... 312!8i6656

Why is there a private crossing sign here? https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0046007 ... 312!8i6656

Active crossing, looks like a truck hit the signal on the right, what a mess

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.9572904 ... 312!8i6656

Crossing with Griswold gate mechs, the signal on the right even has Griswold lights and an old "2 Tracks" sign. There are loads of Griswold mechs along this line.

More Griswold mechs, nice old crossing

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.8963382 ... 312!8i6656

GSV got this crossing mid-upgrade, it's even getting a driveway signal and new traffic lights

That's an awesome crossing, great find. It's got the old cat-eye crossbucks and "4 Tracks" sign, plus the "no-turn" signals and 4 mechanical bells. I sure would love to see that crossing activate.

It certainly is an amazing area, tracks running everywhere.

Looks like the non-gated signal was installed with a gate but had it removed, which makes it even more odd. Reminds me of a set-up I found on Google Maps a while back, and I believe I posted it in here.
They/Them for me, please.

Those were some kind of GRS product, IIRC.

Looks like the support bracket was moved, and not the road.
Those look to actually be RACO signals and gate mechs.
