Anderson Road, Sunshine - Albion (Installed 1927, replaced with flashing lights 1936, replaced with boom barriers 1961, grade separated 2014)
Bakers Road, Batman - Merlynston (Installed 1926, replaced with flashing lights 1959, replaced with boom barriers years later)
Amess Street, Nth Carlton - Nth Fitzroy (installed 1923, replaced with flashing lights 1944, line officially closed 1981 to freight traffic)
Lower Plenty Rd, Rosanna (Installed 1925/1926, replaced with flashing lights 1958, replaced with boom barriers 1972, crossing to be grade separated)
William Street, Watsonia - Greensborough (installed 1925, replaced with flashing lights 1959, grade separated 1978/79)
Rooks Road, Nunawading - Mitcham (installed 1927, replaced with flashing lights 1956, replaced with boom barriers 1979, grade separated 2014)
Mitcham Road, Mitcham (installed 1925, replaced with flashing lights 1953, replaced with boom barriers 1979, grade separated 2014)
Bedford Road, Ringwood - Heathmont (installed 1925, replaced with flashing lights 1962, replaced with boom barriers years later)
Dublin Road, Ringwood East (installed 1929, replaced with flashing lights 1962, replaced with boom barriers years later)
Main Street/Cool Store Road, Croydon (installed 1928, replaced with flashing lights 1957, replaced with boom barriers sometime between the mid 70's to early 80's)
Warburton Road, Launching Place (U) (installed 1926, line closed 1965)

After seeing this video below, I thought I better photograph the crossings that our government is gonna remove... (I'm hoping to the ones on the Dandenong corridor, especially the two Clayton crossings, the Murrumbeena crossing, and Corrigan Road, Noble Park)

Dan's wig wag site is one of the first railroad websites I found many years ago. Lot's of neat stuff on there. Unfortunately it is no longer updated... it is coming up on 3 years since it last was.

Only a small part of the line (about 3km I think) in the middle of the city, it was on a dead end and was between Wickham and Newcastle passenger stations. The rest of the rail network is still operational.
