This in the town of Woodburn, Oregon. There are no actual traffic lights along this road... but at several of these intersections they have installed overhead no left/right turn signs.

And, in case you weren't paying attention... on the first link above both signals at the crossing had triangle gates!

There is also one triangle gate on the second link.

Those images are going on 4 years now, would be interesting to find out if those triangle gates still exist.

Crossing in Lawndale, CA with some of those weird GRS gate mechs:

Some more old signals a bit down the line:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lawnd ... 83996bfcf6
More old signals, with off-set bells for some reason:

Here are more with that same set-up as the previous one:

Another crossing with old signals and 7 inch gate lights!

Here is a cool pedestrian crossing.

Active crossing, Brtnice, Vysočina.

--------------------------------------
Active crossing, Swanton, Ohio. I don't know what was going on here.

This crossing sadly no longer has 8'' signals. But the new signals also have built in pedestrian gates, which is weird considering how built in pedestrian gates and pedestrian gates in general are rare around here. This crossing should be on the site in the near future as I've created a page for it.
More active views of the crossing.

Old 48 degree crossbucks on signals!? On a major highway!?
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2398896 ... 1664?hl=en
The signals have since been removed. That is very weird though, 48 degree crossbucks have never really been common on signals let alone still being in service. It almost reminds me of this crossing:
http://www.rxrsignals.com/Illinois/L-Q/Moline/41/ However it's 48 degree crossbuck was also removed.

Found this picture on RailPictures and got curious as to what the crossing in the lower left looked like:
http://www.railpictures.net/photo/573377
What I found was this rather odd crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mario ... 84a842002a
Most of the lights are Safetran 12x24s, but on the overhead of one of the cantilevers, there is a pair of 8 inch Safetrans for some reason:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mario ... 84a842002a
There are also two Safetran mechanical bells here, though they are mounted on the sides of the really tall gate masts they are one:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mario ... 84a842002a
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mario ... 84a842002a
The gate masts used to also be much shorter, with the bells on the tops of the masts:

There's also this rather nice 8 inch crossing just down the tracks:

What is the point of having both crossbucks on the same side of the crossing instead of being on both sides?

I wonder what happened here?

Well that's a shame. Also, is it me, or are the e-bells mounted higher up than the mechanical bells were?
