Well that's a shame. Also, is it me, or are the e-bells mounted higher up than the mechanical bells were?
Not only that, but the masts are taller as well.

Huh, somehow I didn't notice that. Also, there are extra pairs of front lights on the gate masts, which leads me to believe NS installed a standard taller mast signal, and added the extensions onto it.
Someone really needs to get over there and record that crossing!

Here are some classic cantilever signals.
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6931947 ... 6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6934977 ... 6656?hl=en
What the?
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6934031 ... 6656?hl=en
--------------------------------------
There is a cool pedestrian crossing next to the crossing above, sadly it had not yet been created when Google went by it on the other side of the road.

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6936414 ... 6656?hl=en
--------------------------------------
Here is a unique setup. These crossings are kind of well known so I won't be surprised if some of you have heard of it.

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7089807 ... 6656?hl=en
Notice the odd ID tag.
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7089807 ... 6656?hl=en
I wonder if anyone has ever mistaken this wayside signal for a traffic signal?
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7089302 ... 6656?hl=en
--------------------------------------
This is kind of like a traffic signal controlled railroad crossing in that the signal goes to red when there is a train but instead of warning of a train, it warns of passengers boarding train so it is also kind of like a traffic signal controlled sidewalk as well. I guess it could be used to warn drivers of a train as well. And plus it also has Y-Y-R signals!

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7118284 ... 6656?hl=en
--------------------------------------
Odd setup. Notice how this is a crossing outside of Michigan with STORS signs!
