I just noticed this also... the next crossing to the south is missing something:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5878083 ... 312!8i6656. Wonder if maybe these tracks are no longer in use?
Possibly, or they may just be badly maintained by the railroad.
Here's another weird set-up nearby:

And this is to the south of the crossing with the missing light, so the line is likely still used:

This line has an ex-Southern Railroad feel to it as well...

Hang on, it looks like this line was brought back from the dead!
Check out how this crossing looked when street view went through here last:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.4837228 ... tqp-pw!2e0
And if you look at satellite view, you can see the tracks have since been rebuilt through here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.4836856 ... a=!3m1!1e3
I guess that explains why some of the equipment is in poor shape...
Also, on this is on an NS line that comes off of the NS line that the line above branches off from:

Talk about a terrible setup! Not only are the crossbucks on the wrong side of the road,
this stop sign could make someone think that they have to stop on the tracks!

These are screen grabs from a YouTube video... I am not posting a link as the video itself is rather long, and has some adult language in it. But what I would like to know is where this crossing is? Does anybody recognize it?
The video itself was about "close calls". If you look closely in the 2nd image, there is a car just to the left of the locomotive's nose which has zoomed in front of it at the very last minute.

Following the line in
this post, here's an interesting looking signal:

The cantilever has a mechanical bell mounted on the side of it as well:

Also, this is on the same line as the infamous "RoadRail Crossing":

(Anyone else notice the WABCO bell?)

You need to remove the "s" at the beginning of the link. But to answer your question, the satellite image shows this crossing is in use now, looks like GSV caught it before the road was put in.

The Google car took a picture of itself in the mirror.
