Quite interesting... obviously those crossings have been "downgraded". If the line is still active (hard to tell) I would have to wonder if the control boxes are even hooked up.

This line is the Astoria Riverfront Trolley. Here is one of the streetcars https://www.google.com/maps/@46.1896246 ... 6656?hl=en .

This line was originally a Burlington Northern freight line, it was abandon in 1996.

The signs on the signals imply that the line is active (because the Yield signs were probably not originally part of the original crossings :Tongue2: ), although it does make me wonder if the bells are still hooked up to power.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

This crossing in Vancouver, Canada was only protected by a WCH mechanical bell and traditional traffic lights:

Unfortunately, an overpass was built where this crossing once stood:

Nearby, this abandoned crossing appears to have a similar setup (although I'm assuming it originally had traditional lights as well):

I would highly doubt it based on the condition of the relay boxes: https://www.google.com/maps/@46.1897985 ... 6656?hl=en

Daniel Andrews must of been in Canada at one point removing Canada's 50 worst railroad crossings... :LOL4:

On closer inspection, the bell might actually still be there:

Speaking of closed crossings which still have signals left behind...

All of the relay cases for the Kororoit Creek Rd crossing were left in place when an overpass was built:
2009:

2015, you can't see them on street view, but the relay cases still exist under this bridge:

Also, the siding to nowhere!:
