Thought this one was posted before but I types "Paris" into the search bar but I couldn't find it!

This is on the same line and near of this crossing that David posted here a while back.

It's gone now.

At least they reused the lantern lights on the new gate!

That is pretty crazy that they reused the lantern lights on the new gate!

But cool none of the less! :TUP1: That is probably what happened with those crossings on the CTA! Forget where they were (obviously in the Chicago area or Chicago itself) and which line,

Looks abandonded judging by the lights, one of them has been snapped clean.

I don't see why it would be out of service just because the lights are faded.

Not sure if you're talking about a light or a gate.

The gate is not snapped. It is suppose to be like that. Just like the ones on the DART light rail in Dallas on the crossing under a building.

The image is from 2011... and unfortunately, based on the satellite view, I'm thinking it may be gone. I think the shadow would look a bit different.

Yea, it's most likely gone based on the shadow. Looking at the one on street view, it'd be obvious by the fact that there'd be two shadows that joined together.

And this video from 2012 confirms it.
Sorry for the bump... but I came across a video that shows the above crossing in action before the wishbone gate was removed. That you would enjoy seeing. You can save yourself a little time and go to about the 1:50 mark.

Oh, and it appears the wishbone gate had 4 lights on it... with the 2 on the end staying solid.

Those were posted here before. They no longer have 8" incandescent lights. The gates also lower when the train is at the crossing.

The gates are gone as well. When I was up that way the replacement lights and gates were up, but not yet finished.
