This line in Hudson, New York use to continue further. The former right-of-way is still a little visible after this point.

Spur in Fort Edward, New York.

https://www.google.com/maps/@43.2694891 ... 6656?hl=en

The crossing is long gone but the crossbucks remain. Interesting how one of the has an advance warning sign, I think it's for the crossing ahead, although it is kinda weird for a one way road to have an advance warning sign that faces the opposite direction of the flow in traffic.

Here is the crossing when the track was still there.

Found this video in my subscriptions today showing an abandoned line that's being converted into a rail trail over in the UK:

Doesn't really show any crossings (at least not any with signals), but a few abandoned wayside signals can be seen in it though.

Some rails and ties left behind on the abandoned section of the Tennessee Central near Crossville, TN:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0085653 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0085653 ... 312!8i6656

Some more rail left behind on this abandoned part of the TC in Monterey, TN near the east end of the NERR's line:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1402082 ... 328!8i1664
In fact, on the other side of the former crossing appears to still be maintained by the NERR, which has a wye that's had one of the legs on it abandoned:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1444865 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.144416, ... 312!8i6656

On the other end of this section of abandoned TC are these old bridge pilings near Crab Orchard:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9197305 ... a=!3m1!1e3

And over in Nashville, here's another abandoned portion of the Tennessee Central:

This crossing in Englewood, TN has since been torn out:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4256411 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4256243 ... a=!3m1!1e3

More torn out crossings further west:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.425302, ... 328!8i1664

This one had some signals, one of which was a classic L&N install!
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4258376 ... 328!8i1664
Now gone of course, sadly, though a base still remains:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4258167 ... 312!8i6656

At this point, the line has become a rail trail, though here's a now removed bridge along it:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4367931 ... 328!8i1664

Before trail:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4562217 ... 328!8i1664
After trail:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4562016 ... 312!8i6656

Another crossing that had a pair of classic L&N signals at it:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4571848 ... 328!8i1664
After the signals were removed, but before it became a trail:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4571114 ... 312!8i6656
How the former crossing looks now:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4572486 ... 312!8i6656
This power connection still remains:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4572531 ... 312!8i6656
Along with a base:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4572696 ... 312!8i6656

Just west of the crossing, the line splits at a wye:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4570921 ... a=!3m1!1e3

Going northwest leads to an NS line along a long-abandoned line that has nothing of note other than this bridge:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4584574 ... a=!3m1!1e3

And this section of differing pavement where the tracks were, which is now gone as the road was repaved:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4607044 ... 312!8i6656

However, following the line that went southwest from the wye, we see more now removed crossings, which lead to the last customer along the line:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4543136 ... 328!8i1664
There used to be a second customer based on the remains of this spur that have been abandoned for an even longer time!
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4545059 ... 328!8i1664

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4533439 ... 328!8i1664

More classic L&N signals were here!
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.451595, ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.451273, ... 328!8i1664
The crossing now:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4515833 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4512089 ... 312!8i6656
All that's left is this base:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4515833 ... 312!8i6656
There used to be a power connection for the relay case though, but that's also now gone:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4512427 ... 312!8i6656

The last public crossing along the line when it was still in use:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.4504394 ... 312!8i6656

It appears the line continued a bit further west, but like the other part of the line, I can't find much evidence for this beyond this abandoned bridge (on the right) and what appears to be a paved-over crossing (on the left):

This crossing in Salina, KS could be considered to be out of service:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7544676 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7544671 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.754467, ... 312!8i6656

Going south, the tracks disappear and there's not much left of the line, but this timetable sign still remains:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.739961, ... 312!8i6656

And an old speed limit sign further to the south:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7109102 ... 312!8i6656

Here's the remains of a bridge on another abandoned line nearby:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6381473 ... 312!8i6656

Another forgotten bridge along the same line:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7069774 ... 312!8i6656

More bridge remains further east:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6811147 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6811147 ... 312!8i6656

Here's a mile post!
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6892447 ... 312!8i6656

A small stretch of track reappears further to the east:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6944387 ... 312!8i6656

Looks like this crossing once had signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6943752 ... 312!8i6656

The line becomes a BNSF branch line further east, but after crossing a main line, it goes back dead again and we get these crossings that once had signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6725954 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@38.6721657 ... 312!8i6656

Further to the east, it becomes a rail trail.

And on another nearby abandoned line (all three of these lines so far have intersected at least one of the others), we find some forgotten bridges:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7252713 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7397526 ... 312!8i6656

The remains of some other bridges:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7542715 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7670619 ... 312!8i6656

Further north, we find this warning sign dating back to when the railroad ran through here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.7836624 ... 312!8i6656

And the line goes back into use just beyond this crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.833816, ... 312!8i6656
Checkout that caboose!

Going back to the first line I was following...
Here we have an extra-wide bridge where the railroad once ran:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5833029 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5833029 ... 312!8i6656
As you can see, this line becomes another rail trail further south, but it quickly ends on the other side of town.

Further down the line, there's another forgotten bridge, though there isn't any street view here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.554709, ... a=!3m1!1e3

More remains of a bridge:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5561151 ... a=!3m1!1e3

Further to the west, the line goes back into service. There's also a fourth abandoned line in the area, but nothing from it other than the ROW remains.
