Still has a bell on it!

Also love how when UP put up the new ENS signs, they just took a wooden post, stuck it in the ground, and attached the two ENS signs to it:

It used to have a twin on the other side as well, but that one has since disappeared:

Here's the out of service Metro North Maybrook Line in New York. Many of these crossings still retain signals, though they've had the lights (and usually bells) removed and exempt signs added.
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4937351 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5013776 ... 312!8i6656

This one retains a bell at it, and also has a "dummy" 4-way signal at the intersection next to it (sadly in a permanent flash mode):
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5025473 ... 312!8i6656
Looks like a WRRS bell based on the latch:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5025833 ... 312!8i6656
The traffic light:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5025833 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5045365 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5143708 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5158403 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5161071 ... 312!8i6656
There were once signals here based on the relay case:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5162877 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5158534 ... 312!8i6656

These were once gated cantilevers:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5332698 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.533666, ... 312!8i6656

These were likely originally gated as well:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5336763 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5444001 ... 312!8i6656

Based on the rust marks on the mast, these signals originally had gates too:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5440217 ... 312!8i6656

No exempt signs here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5503738 ... 312!8i6656

Or here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5519865 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5527112 ... 312!8i6656

Or here either:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5553931 ... 312!8i6656

A 45° crossbuck! No exempt signs again though, or after this crossing, it appears:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5574044 ... 312!8i6656

One of the crossbucks got chopped down!
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5630637 ... 312!8i6656

Another really old 45° crossbuck!
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5687264 ... 312!8i6656

The exempt signs make a return at this once-gated crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5756159 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5830718 ... 312!8i6656

These former signals are starting to get buried in the trees:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5680327 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5690881 ... 312!8i6656

This crossing may still retain a Safetran bell:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5857221 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5858165 ... 328!8i1664

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.523311, ... 328!8i1664

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4175539 ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.3885,-7 ... 312!8i6656

Once in CT, the line goes back into service as part of the Housatonic Railroad.

I believe that line out of Beacon has been posted here a long time ago in the past.

Also, wow that dummy signal is still going strong! And with LEDs too!

^ I think I posted the signal Beacon a while ago as a response to a post for the crossing.

I wonder if it was switched from incandescent to LED before it was put into flash mode as all of the lights on that signal are LED.
